Description: This bill seeks to add 10 years prison time for anyone who illegally fores a gun on school grounds. There are already about 30 years which can be charged for this, but the anti-rights crowd wants 10 more. A 16 year old kid who fires a gun at school, even if he or she never aimed it at a person nor hurt anyone, could be imprisoned for 40 years if this passes. There is a bill in the House to do the same thing.

Description: This bill would allow any retired police officer from anywhere in the US to carry a concealed handgun in RI. Retired police officers are not police officers and have no more or less authority than anyone else. This right should be extended to all persons and not limited to a select few.
